choose from 38,000 led walks a year across England, Scotland and Wales
help us continue our charitable work to protect Britain’s footpaths and promote walking
The group is currently conducting a survey of its members' opinions about the walks programme. Anyone who attended the AGM will have received a hard copy to fill in. Anyone who did not attend the AGM or passed their copy onto someone else can order another copy from firstname.lastname@example.org. Questionnaires will now be accepted until the Christmas Dinner on December 23rd.
Congratulations to committee member Marje Morgan on completing the Country Walking Magazine 'walk 1000 miles' challenge and getting her name in the magazine.
Bookings for the Christmas meal are now open. See the Social Programme.
The 'volunteer check in' scheme is now live and we recommend that all members of the Group who volunteer in any capacity should ensure that their details are correctly recorded so they receive the appropriate e-mails from Central Office. See https://www.ramblers.org.uk/volunteer-zone/support-and-development/volunteer-check-in.aspx for more details. Even members who ae not volunteers should register on the website and the page contains instructions for this. Logging in subsequently will grant access to parts of the website which are not available to the general public.
